The Church of Evangelismos was constructed in 1930 as a Catholic church. In the same complex there is the church library, the theater and lecture hall with capacity of 150 people and the residence of the Bishop. The church has collected and exhibits a number of old remarkable Byzantine icons.
The Metropolis of Kos is located in a prominent location near the sea and a short distance from the center of Kos and stays open during the morning hours.
